What is a Small Loan?

A Small Loan is basically a loan you repay over a period of 1 - 4 months, repayments are due weekly, fortnightly or monthly. All repayments are managed via direct debit or Debit Cards, they are also scheduled for when your pay goes into your account. This helps customers stay on top of their repayment schedule.

Our loan amounts vary from $100 to $2000. First time customers may be eligible to borrow up to $600 if employed, or $300 if on Centrelink benefits. When you have an active loan with CashnGo, you'll need to finalise all the repayments before you can apply for another loan with us. This prevents you from getting into long-term debt and losing control. For people who run into repayment difficulties, CashnGo will offer flexible solutions to assist you with getting back on track.

CashnGo loans are really for people who need to borrow small amounts of money for a short period of time.

Please contact us if you have any further questions about our loans.

How much can I borrow?

CashnGo offer short term loans between $100 to $2000. First time customers may be eligible to borrow up to $600 if employed, or $300 if on Centrelink benefits.

For all applications, our lending criteria and suitability checks will apply. In addition, we look at the rest of the information you have provided during the application process, together with the information we obtain,  to make sure that you can repay and the loan is fit for purpose - after all, our goal is to provide you with the funds you need and can comfortably repay.

Each time you use CashnGo, your repayment history will be taken into consideration for subsequent loans. Furthermore, your ability to borrow larger amounts will also depend on your "successful" repayment history.

How long will it take to get a decision?

We aim to provide you with a fast decision on your loan and aim to turn around your application as soon as possible. This may take up to one business day, or sometimes longer, subject to the details of your application.  Once we have received your application, we may need to contact you to verify the information you've submitted during your application, then, we will provide you with a decision.

Once your loan has been assessed and approved and you have signed your Credit Contract, we can fund your prepaid card or nominated bank account within minutes (bank transfer delays may apply)

What do I need before I apply for a loan?

Like most lenders, you'll need to provide us with some basic information including;

  • Personal details.
  • Bank details - so we can verify your financial situation.
  • VISA/Mastercard debit card which is linked to your primary income account

Our application form includes various questions about each topic so it's nice and easy for you!

Does CashnGo do credit checks?

Like most lenders, we carry out credit history checks, however, we are more interested in your current financial situation than issues you may have encountered in the past. If you have a regular income and have the ability to make your repayments, we welcome your application.

Credit history is only part of our application assessment - we also consider other information as a responsible lender.

With that said, if you are bankrupt, in a Part IX debt agreement or Part X personal insolvency agreement, your application will be declined.

How do I get paid and how fast?

Upon approval of your application, your money will be transferred within seconds into your nominated bank account. Waiting times may vary dependent on your bank.

Do I need to send documents?

Generally we don't require documents as we are able to verify all the required details without you needing to send any paperwork. Should we require any additional documentation, the Customer Care team will contact you.

What are the fees and charges?

Our short term loans incur an Establishment Fee of 20% of the amount borrowed and a monthly fee of 4% of the amount borrowed. For further information relating to Fees & Charges please contact our Customer Care team on 13 13 11.

How do I repay my loan?

Repaying CashnGo is very easy! As part of the application process, we will set up and facilitate direct debit and debit card payments from your nominated bank account (which your income goes into). Subsequently, each time you get paid our repayment will come out automatically.

Also to help you keep track of when your payments will come out, we will send you an SMS the day before your payment is due.

What if I can't make a repayment by the due date?

The costs of your loan can only increase if you fail to stick to your initial repayment schedule and you don't contact us at least 2 business days prior to your direct debit.

If you do not have enough money in your account for your loan payment and your direct debit is declined by your nominated bank, you will be charged a dishonour fee from your bank and you may also be charged a dishonour fee by CashnGo.

If you think you won't have sufficient funds in your bank account to cover your repayment, please contact our Customer Care team immediately to make alternative arrangements to your payment plan. By advising us ahead of time, you may avoid the payment dishonour fees imposed by your bank and CashnGo.

If you have continuous problems with repayments, we may reduce the amount available to you on subsequent loans or make further loans unavailable.

I'm experiencing financial hardship, what can I do?

We all go through financial hardship from time to time; CashnGo certainly understand this. The best thing to do is call us and let us know about your circumstances as soon as they change. Its very important you contact us before any of your repayments are due so we can help.

If we know about your hardship, we can work together and offer some flexibility with your loan contract. You can contact our Customer Care team on 13 13 11 or via email on customercare@cashngo.com.au.
